Lampasas Ranch (order #06-08)
This art print is from our historical calendar "This Place Texas."

 $15 matted (11"x14")

$50 framed (14"x17")06-08.

Before the 1880's ranchers branded their cattle and let them roam the open range.  With the invention of barbed wire, ranchers fenced their pastures and added water wells and windmills.  Now ranchers sold their cattle by the pound rather than by the head.  I found this fenced pasture and windmill near Lampassas.
