Texas Companies (order #07-07)
This art print is from our historical calendar "Signs of Texas."

$15 matted (11" x 14")

$50 framed (14" x 17")

In 1901, the Spindletop Gusher, near Beaumont, blew Texas into the oil and gas industry.  The painting below includes advertising signs from major Texas oil companies.  Another popular sign in Texas advertises Dr. Pepper, the soft drink created in 1885 by a pharmacist in Waco. I used Luckenbach Store in the Texas hill country as a background for this painting.
